It has important theoretical and practical significance to explore the effect of E-government use on government trust. However, the research on the relationship and mechanism between E-government and government trust is insufficient at present. Based on 573 sample data, this paper analyses the relationship between E-government use, government transparency, mainstream media contact and government trust and uses SPSS software to verify the research hypothesis. The research finds that the E-government use has a significant positive impact on government trust, in which government transparency plays a part of the intermediary role. Mainstream media contact can not only regulate the influence of e-government use and government transparency on government trust, but also regulate the mediating role of government transparency between E-government use and government trust. This study expands the research perspective of the relationship between E-government and government trust, and has practical significance for better promoting the E-government construction and the level of citizens’ trust in government. |
