Abstract: |
In the era of deep mediatization, the development and evolution of information technology has profoundly changed the way and scope of media participation in national governance. Under the influence of world neoliberalism, media logic has overtaken political logic, which undermines the representativeness and participation of media as part of the national governance structure. By establishing a normative configuration of political authority, administrative interests and social autonomy in national governance, and a framework of media’s mobilization and dynamic mechanism, this study analyzes the interaction among media, government and the public in the context of information technology change, using the history of relationship changes between media and national governance since the reform and opening up as materials. The authors think it is necessary to reconstruct the unified structure of political authority, administrative interests and social autonomy so that information technology can serve to good national governance. |
